30 Days Song Meme - Day 1

I felt like doing one of these. I was going for the video game meme at first, but it struck me that this meme would be more interesting, for all the reasons I thought I SHOULDN'T do it--namely: I am extremely critical of my taste in music, I only listen to a very limited subset of Stuff, I do not follow bands at all, and I have an outrageous dorky hate-on for music elitists of an intensity I have only seen directed at weeaboos wearing cat ears.

Fun fact: I get really mopey and intolerable when I read a story and it quotes/references music I have not heard of on a frequent basis, because it makes me feel like a pathetic dag for not being more into a medium that pretty much everyone agrees is worthwhile. (Behold: The real reason I don't read The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal)
