Something FUNKY has happened to the Twitter website, exploits being used to spam, pop-up websites, RT other users, automatically retweet the exploit so other people get hit by it (I wonder if the person who caught me out with this was that guy who kept writing auto-friend scripts for Livejournal)...

Anyway, using clients such as Tweetdeck is still fine, but avoid visiting the website itself for a while.

At least this (plus me stubbing the hell out of my toe on a stray bit of furniture owowowowo) is good incentive for me to get off my computer and sort my shit.
